Are you seeking to find your true path to success? If you answered yes to either of these questions this mini-retreat is for you. Joan sets the foundation for the retreat in a talk "Evoke your GREATNESS" and by coaching a volunteer to evoke their greatness on stage. Private reflection time is followed by small group coaching with 12 selected supporters. Each person then captures insights in a statement of a winning principle. Don't miss this extraordinary event.

How interested are you in learning about neural mechanisms and coaching? Are you curious about how and why coaching works from a physiological point of view? Do you want to know what is solid in neuroscience that you can use as a foundation in your coaching processes? If you answered YES, this presentation was created for you.
Neuroscience offers us an extraordinary capacity to understand the brain and its functions, the neural mechanisms underlying fundamental processes in humans specifically those that form the substrate for human learning and memory, modulating fear, motivating change, etc., seminal to our coaching practice. Our current methodologies measure activities over large areas without delineating specific circuits. The pitfall we must avoid lies in extrapolating meaning from data that is not sufficiently precise to allow us to come to those conclusions.
Though limited, our current knowledge of specific aspects of brain function, primarily obtained from animal studies and a limited number of human studies, can enhance core competencies to:
